About this event

This new sponsored cycle ride is planned as an annual event to raise funds for the organisations that support people who suffer from cancer.

The event aims to celebrate the lives of those who are no longer with us or who are currently suffering with this disease by getting out and doing something fun and healthy to help raise money to support their care.

Funds raised by the event will go to a dedicated cancer charity and this year that will be Marie Curie Cancer Care, who we thank for their support in getting the event off the ground in this first year. The work done by the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity makes such a huge difference to the lives of those suffering that we are sure you will support the choice of charity and support the event in whatever way you can.

If you can’t participate in the ride then there still lots of other ways you could help to make the day a success. Sponsorship would be welcomed and volunteers will be needed to help with the organisation on the day, so please get in touch if you can help. Contact details are given on the registration page.
